Tel Aviv, Israel – February 23, 2012 – APM Automation Solutions Ltd. (APM) announced the company's 3DLevelScanner™ received FM approval as meeting Canada's standards (cFMus) for installation in potentially explosive environments. This will enable APM to enter additional important markets.
FM Approval was for Class I, II Division 1, Groups C, D, E, F, and G. meeting the following Canadian standards: CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 25 (1966), CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 157 (1992), CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 1010 (2004), and CAN/CSA E61241-1-1 (2002).
Meeting the Canadian safety standards will allow APM to target such industrial applications as Grain, Flour, Sugar, Coal, Fly Ash, Cement, Wood Chips etc.
