APM 3DLevelScanners to be distributed under SCAIME private label branding in FRANCE

Tel Aviv, Israel, 1st April 2009 – APM Automation Solutions Ltd. today announced signing of an agreement with Annemasse-based SCAIME S.A.S. for the distribution of APM’s unique 3DLevelScanner under the SCAIME brand name in France. SCAIME is highly regarded for the high quality, highly accurate weighing and industrial measurement solutions that it delivers to industries across the manufacturing spectrum, among them chemicals, food processing, and pharmaceuticals. Because of its exceptional accuracy in measuring the volume inside silos of all types, the 3DLevelScanner will be easily integrated into SCAIME's line of leading-edge ISO 9001:2000-certified industrial measurement instrumentation.

As part of the APM-SCAIME cooperation, APM will manufacture its 3DLevelScanner products under the SCAIME private label and they will be marketed and sold, installed and serviced by SCAIME in France. 

The 3DLevelScanner uses non-contact, dust penetrating technology to create a visual map of the material surface in storage and process silos. It measures the material surface at multiple points to accurately calculate the volume and mass, even in conditions where the material surface is highly irregular such as silos with multiple filling sites, very large silos, or for materials that tend to pile, clump or stick to the walls of the silo. It is proven to perform in coal, cement, aggregates, fly ash, chemicals, fertilizers, food, grain, plastic pellets and powders. The 3DLevelScanner can work in small to very large silos – measuring bins up to 70m tall and can also measure materials in stock piles, open bins, bulk storage rooms and warehouses.
